SAMANTHA JULIA BLACK
IS GONNA BE TOTALLY AWESOME !
She can kill with her smile,
She can wound with her eyes.
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies.
And she hides like a child, but she’s always a woman, to me.

GOYLE, WHO DO YOU THINK IS THE UGLIEST
GIRL IN SCHOOL? HMM... OH, BUCKBEAK, FOR SURE
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
EYE DETAILS: Forest-green eyes containing a few flecks of brown in the iris. HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: 5' 2" | 120 lbs | Petite with a slender frame.
FACE: Heart-shaped face, with a round chin and bow-shaped lips.
STYLE: She has a rather artsy style. Samantha is really into the mesh/texture look. And leggings. She just loves leggings.
FEELINGS: Sam isn’t very good at hiding what she is thinking and is an extremely untalented liar, so it isn’t exactly difficult for intelligent ones to decipher what is going on inside her head. The fact that she has highly expressive facial expressions doesn’t help her with it, either.

VERITASERUM: If you were able to trick Sam into taking Veritaserum (which you probably won’t be able to do), she’d probably admit that she’s in love with Fred Weasley (though she doesn’t consciously know it yet) or that she already made-out with her toad to see if he would transform into a prince (an unsuccessful experience).

OVERVIEW:Samantha Black is your typical Gryffindor girl. Interesting and endearing would undoubtedly be the way anybody would describe her. Between being the Center Chaser of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, hating Draco Malfoy, her friends, relatives and other personal problems, the girl really always has a lot on her plate, and stress isn’t unknown to her. Unfortunately, stress is one of the rare things Samantha can’t handle, so she tends to just let go and stop everything when she feels she has too much on her plate, and even if the Sorting Hat considered putting her into Ravenclaw for her brains, when she was under pressure, she was unable to think rationally, which brought her into many, many detentions.
Samantha Black has a fairly large group of friends, the ones closest to her being Marion Bontecou and Harry Potter. Sam’s biggest fear, as mentioned above, was from a very young age, the fear of water. It is for that reason that she did not attend the second task in which Harry participated in, during the Triwizard tournament. While everybody thought her being in the Quidditch pitch, she was actually in the Greenhouses, in company of Neville Longbottom, who was the only person aware of her being aquaphobic. She hadn’t thought herselft capable of watching helplessly as Harry would get in the water, and disappeared out of her sight.. It would’ve driven her insane, since Harry was the only one whom she considered a real part of her family. Well, with Marion, of course.
Samantha absolutely adores treacle tart, and will undoubtedly seek the friendship of a person who offers her some. She finds it absolutely frustrating, that she seems to excel only in all the little things that are unimportant, and fail at everything big. For example, she’s simply incredible at Divinations, yet isn’t able to perform a decent Riddikulus spell, in the Defence Against the Dark Arts (DADA) class.

BIRTHPLACE: Bathroom of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Scotland.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Hogwarts.
OVERVIEW:Samantha Black is a sixth grade student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, being born on July 30 of 1980, in the small bathroom of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, a hospital located in Scotland. Samantha, often referred to as Sam, is a pure-blooded witch, the only child of Julia Noël (named after the French-Canadian woman who helped Sam’s grandmother give birth to Julia) and Sirius Black (named after the brightest star). Both her parents are deceased, so she spends most of her time in Hogwarts, the only home she feels she has left.
Samantha Black lived with her Uncle Blaise for the first eleven years of her life, for the Ministry of Magic did not feel Sirius was responsible enough to take care of a child (Let us not forget that, at the time, Sirius was in Askaban). It was yet a rather bad decision to send her there, since her Uncle abused her seemingly endlessly. She though does not regret spending time there, for if she hadn’t, she wouldn’t have met Harry.
When she received her Hogwarts Letter of Acceptance, she hadn’t wanted to speak to Harry about it since she was afraid he would think of her as insane, or mentally unstable. She then made an excuse that her Uncle was sending her to a private boarding school in South Africa, since Sam had always wanted to live in South Africa. Harry had merely nodded, and muttered something about him, too, not going to be present during the year. It was a great surprise when she saw Harry, in company of the Weasleys, preparing themselves to hop on the train.
Samantha was greatly relieved as she got sorted into Gryffindor. She wouldn’t be able to bear spending a year away from Harry, since she thought he’d probably be her only friend, there. She hadn’t had the slightest clue that the small, pudgy girl she had sat with in the Hogwarts Express, named Marion, or something, that had helped her name her toad Chandler, would end up being her best friend.
Six Christmases later, Samantha got on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, as center chaser, after Ronald, who also revealed to be one of her best friends, had convinced her into helping him practice for the Keeper try-outs. Fred had seen Sam play, and had slipped a word about it to Harry, who then convinced Samantha into at least trying-out.
And so there she is, spending almost all of her free-time in detention with Fred and George, trying to move on from the atrocities that had happened in her life, and find the true meaning of happiness.

The Fat Lady let out a scream.
Samantha Black’s attention shifted from her Arithmancy books to the distressingly panic-stricken painting, her light green eyes enlarging in suspicion. The everlasting dancing flames of the fire lighted in the Common Room seemed to faint, and Samantha clutched on tightly to her hard-covered book. The idea that she was a witch, and that she could do essentially anything with a wand hadn’t seemed to be fully processed in her brain. The girl intensely kept staring at the portrait which was currently ripped, a hole right where the Fat Lady’s head would have been, if she had been alive. It was at around suppertime, and the whole Gryffindor house had strolled down to the Great Hall, their stomachs famishing-ly rumbling. Samantha had chosen to skip supper in order to catch up on the month-load of assignments she had forgotten about.
A somewhat familiar figure emerged from behind the painting and Samantha sighed of relief, glad she wasn’t going to be alone in the presently dim-lighted Common Room. The girl got off the couch and walked towards the one standing in diagonal from her.
‘Did you see what happened?’ Samantha asked, her rather thing eyebrows frowning in confusion. She licked her lips, completely oblivious to what was going to happen next.
With a flick of the newcomer’s wand, Samantha felt her knees weaken and dropped on the wool-carpet. She looked up, impotently, her eyes pleading.
‘What are you doing?’ She asked, her voice almost nothing but a whisper. The wand-owner snickered, upper lip curling upwards, and said something Sam could not decipher, in a kind of incomprehensible hiss.
Then, Samantha Black’s world exploded in torment.
Red as roses. Painful as fire. It had begun in her head. The rumbling, agonizing storm like raging flames burning her insides, consuming her step-by-step. Razor blades sliding down her body, digging deep into her skin, tearing her flesh as they continued their way downwards. She was being crushed bone-by-bone. The pain was worst than anything Samantha had or would ever encounter in a lifetime. It was worst than anything she had been able to imagine. The sensation of the paroxysm her attacker had chosen was like falling off a broomstick, five hundred feet in the air, all your vital organs left behind. Only, the pain multiplied by a hundred. It was unbearable. It yet ended as abruptly as it had started. Samantha had, for the first time, been the object of a Cruciatus Curse.
