DELILAH SERAPHINA HOLSTONE
IS GONNA BE QUITE TERRIFIC !
You are the loneliest girl in the world
Taking your hits as they come
You are the loneliest girl in the world
And tonight you'd fall for anyone
It's in the wall you fall down to bed
It's in the way you cry when he's not looking

OH, JUST GIVE THEM ALL B-'s AND BE DONE WITH IT!
NOW THAT'S EVIL. YEAH THANKS, I AM THE DARK LORD

AGE/DOB: 16 | 27th April 1979
YEAR: 7th
HOUSE: Slytherin.
AFFILIATION: Neutral with no lean, she’s completely unbiased.

GOYLE, WHO DO YOU THINK IS THE UGLIEST
GIRL IN SCHOOL? HMM... OH, BUCKBEAK, FOR SURE
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
EYE DETAILS: Moss green speckled with brown.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: 5ft 6inches | 120llbs | Average height and weight, a slim figure naturally; she can eat all she likes and never puts on weight.
FACE: Oval-shaped.
STYLE: She likes to mix it up, some days she’ll go for the rocker look with heavy make-up and ripped tights with short skirts or other times she’ll wear pretty dresses or casual skinny jeans and t-shirts. Her overall style is alternative. Delilah doesn’t follow fashion; she wears what she wants when she wants.
FEELINGS: A curious person, Delilah is often referred to as being ‘distant’ and a loner. She doesn’t hang out with people much and if she does, she’s in another world, talking to them but not really listening. To her, she feels like an outsider in an insider’s world, something that frustrates her. A realist, Delilah doesn’t sugar-coat things but prefers the truth and doesn’t mind having to deal with horrific things as long as it’s real.
PLAYED BY: Kaya Scodelario.

MAN, BACK WHEN I HAD A BODY, OOH. I HAD MAD GAME
WITH THE BITCHES. JUST ASK BELLATRIX LESTRANGE!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
LOATHES: Lies, cheats, romantic wimps, happy endings (she knows they doesn’t actually exist), sugar-coating the truth, deception, Astronomy, the way people look down upon others, being stuck indoors, having to conform with guidelines, fighting, reality [sometimes] and feeling futile.
BOGGART: Her Boggart takes the form of the world crashing and burning for she seriously fears about the apocalypse, something that has given her nightmares since she was young. Her Riddikulus Charm would make the world into a bouncy ball.
DEMENTOR: Her worst memory was when she was told about Voldemort, she remembers being young and being told the stories of what happened to the people that crossed him. Her Boggart would make her hear all of the horrific things Voldemort has done to witches and wizards alike.
PATRONUS: Delilah’s animal counterpart is a swan; a silvery swan that dances gracefully, shy and beautiful, much like the girl herself. Her best memory is the day she found a dragon egg in her garden; she remembers being enchanted by it and charmed that it was she who found it.
AMORENTIA: Maple syrup, Knockturn Alley cigarette smoke and fresh air.
VERITASERUM: She would tell that she kept a dragon egg in her garden and kept it until it was a baby, then she released it. Delilah may also confess her favorite person in the world is her father, she feels he is the only one who understands her.
STRENGTHS: Delilah is undeniably good at attracting male attention, despite the fact she doesn’t go looking for it. The way she’s such an enigma makes boys fancy her. She’s a very skilled witch and can transform any creature into something else; a Transfiguration whizz. Delilah is great at Quidditch, she either commentates but is on the reserve Slytherin Team.
WEAKNESSES: Her ability to keep her focus and attention on the matter in fact. Delilah fails at Astronomy because she doesn’t have the patience to be good at it. Another weakness is that she can be too dismissive; she doesn’t believe in happy endings giving her a hard edge.
OVERVIEW: Delilah is the enigma of the school—nobody really seems to know who she is or what’s she about. She drifts alone and conforms to hardly any guidelines, taking her own path in life. Mainly, she’s a loner and if Delilah talks to someone it will usually be short sentences, quick answers and not much commitment; she doesn’t mean to be dismissive with people but it’s like a curse, she can’t control it. Unlike Luna Lovegood, however, Delilah isn’t feared or frowned upon. People are intrigued by her silence and loneliness, and are almost hypnotized by her ethereal grace as she walks alone. This is probably because to the unknowing eye, she looks like a typical popular girl.
A particularly bright young girl, Delilah excels in most of her subjects but once again, she lacks real enthusiasm and motivation to improve; the only subject she seems vaguely interested in would be Transfiguration, which she excels in to the greatest extent. Delilah has such an interest in it that she is secretly learning how to become an Animagus, which takes the form of a fox. Her thirst for knowledge grows from her father who is a Healer at St Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, whom has always shed knowledge and trivia onto her since childhood.
Seemingly cold and dismissive, people are fascinated Delilah but she, herself, sees herself as someone lost. She can’t understand her own feelings and this infuriates her, making her [sometimes] angry. Unsure of her own emotions, Delilah is unorthodoxly certain of her views about most things—apart from the most important of all; which side, the Order or the Death Eaters. Her parents are both neutral, with a casual lean towards the Order but Delilah isn’t sure—she does believe that Voldemort does things the wrong way but she can’t escape the fact that she believes she’s more important than silly muggles. However, she doesn’t ponder on it too much.
Delilah isn’t cynical but she’s a realist; she don’t believe in the fairytales of true love and soul mates but thinks that people settle for what they think to be love, but is really only great affection. She knows bad things much happen to let the sun shine through and so she tries not to moan when something bad happens to her.

FATHER: Godfrey Lorcan Holstone, 49, Neutral, Slytherin
WEALTH STATUS: Fairly well off, comfortable, stable income.
BIRTHPLACE: St Mungo’s.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Hogwarts | Ottery St. Catchpole
OVERVIEW: Delilah Seraphina is the third child of Godfrey and Marina Holstone, the only daughter to a family of two sons. Coming from a whole family of witches and wizards, Delilah was never really introduced to muggle artifacts or anything related to muggles; this has, eventually, given her the outlook that muggles are ignorant in their methods of life. This of course, gives her the reason of her Sorting into Slytherin. Her family travelled a lot when she was younger whilst her father did work in numerous hospitals around the world and her mother would write articles for the Daily Prophet. This all stopped when her oldest brother, Hamish, received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts; it brought the family back to Britain and settled them into Ottery St. Catchpole.
The next years of Delilah’s life aren’t very interesting, until she herself began attending Hogwarts where she bloomed and grew. She was always more isolated than other girls but was all the same a rather popular girl. Sorted into Slytherin, she took refuge in the cool, green dungeon common room and found a real talent and liking for Quidditch, a game her brothers had enjoyed before her; Hamish being Captain though refused to let her on the team in fear of showing favoritism.
During her fifth year, at the Yule Ball, where Delilah now had a real air of mystery and intrigue, she was asked to attend with one of the Durmstrang boys. The evening was going well, filled with dancing and drinking until he asked her to walk with him to the Black Lake; always being fascinated by it, she agreed to go with him, feeling confident in his safety. It was a pleasant walk towards the Lake and they passed many couples and many professors. However, when they got there, the boy—Piotr—pushed himself upon her and forced her into kissing him. Delilah had resisted at first but he’d overcome her, with brute strength and persistence and that night Delilah was raped. She has never told anyone this.
A few months later, somewhat scarred by what happened to her, Delilah’s life was becoming worse and worse. Her brother Hamish had attacked a muggle, acting whether under the Imperius Curse or not is unknown but he received a sentence to a year in Azkaban, something that somewhat tarnished her family’s perfect image.
Entering her last year at Hogwarts, Delilah is as isolated as ever. But maybe something is changing. Perhaps someone is coming.

RP SAMPLE: Harry was thoroughly fed up. Hermione and Ron’s constant bickering was pushing his patience to the absolute limit. With the pair of them throwing insults left, right and center, Harry was [for one of the first times in his life] not enjoying Hogwarts life; it was long and dull without the unity and excitement of his two best friends. The night before, the Gryffindor common room had held host to a party in the name of all the Gryffindor birthdays that the friends had missed over the summer holidays. Of course, this had proved the perfect opportunity for Ron and Hermione to scowl at one another from across the room whilst Harry endured an hour of Neville’s garble about Herbology and its uses in modern magic. That alone would be enough to put someone in a bad mood, but it was heightened by the fact that Dumbledore had promised Harry he would be having private lessons with him but the Headmaster was yet to mention it again.
Early though it was, Harry quickly washed and dressed, not bothering to be quiet because he knew Ron’s thunderous snoring would cover up any noise he made. Finally, slipping on a pair of old socks (previously belonging to Dudley) and his favorite trainers, Harry picked up his Advanced Potions book and headed off towards the library.
Walking down the corridors, Harry smiled as he passed the paintings. He’d been at this school for six years and yet, he could never get over how wonderful magic was. Violet, The Fat Lady’s gossiping friend, was dancing through the portraits, whispering and pointing at Harry to which the painting’s inhabitants would begin muttering excitedly. Harry kept his head down and walked with a faster pace. Gossip was already running rife in the corridors this year; everywhere he turned, people would stare at Harry, just like they did when he first arrived. However, this year it was because the Daily Prophet was claiming him to be ‘The Chosen One’ which to some extent amused him. It was amusing because last year Harry was the most untrusted, hated boy in the country, re-named ‘Harry Plotter’ and ‘The Boy Who Lies’ despite the fact he had been telling the truth all along. But he was trying not to be bitter and just be pleased that people believed him now.
Jumping the vanishing step on the staircase, Harry strode towards the library and slowly pushed the door open, not surprised to find it quite empty. Finding a comfortable corner, Harry settled himself down and opened his Potions book and began to dissect it, looking at the writing.
Hermione’s wrong, it can’t be a girl. It’s a boy, I just know. Harry thought to himself as he read the instructions to make Black Death. After about fifteen minutes searching through the book, Harry was feeling in somewhat of a better mood and decided he might even ask Ron to go and play some Quidditch with him in the afternoon. Placing a small, satisfied smile upon his thin face, Harry adjusted his glasses as they slipped down his nose. Thinking of going for some breakfast, Harry’s attention was caught as he saw Professor Slughorn of who had taken a great liking to Harry. Hiding himself behind one of the bookcases, Harry kept an eye on the old, podgy teacher. Harry watched as he made his way across the library, his huge, bulbous nose red-raw as if he’d just been out in a bitter, winter storm.
Harry was about to sneak out of the library when Harry overheard Professor Slughorn’s voice from the Restricted Section and without hesitation, Harry followed.
“Miss Gold, what are you doing here so early?”
Running through the members of the Gold family, Harry presumed it must be Kallista as she was the studious Ravenclaw. He knew her from Dumbledore’s Army and she was a very skilled witch but she wasn’t old enough to just go into the Restricted Section and teachers, in the current global situation of dread, were not keen to give passes to that particular part of the library. He peered around the corner of the shelf and was surprised to find Slughorn talking to Cordelia.
Rubbing his ear, his one sign of self-consciousness, Harry was careful to keep himself hidden. He didn’t want Slughorn to know he was there, spying or not. Looking around his shoulder, Harry checked that no one would find him in this unflattering position and was glad to see he was alone.
“D-don't you, what do you....don't go looking for things you know nothing about, girl!"
Harry was somewhat taken aback when Slughorn said that and ditching his idea of staying hidden, Harry dashed to a chair nearer the area and put his Advanced Potion Making book in front of his face, obscuring his vision somewhat but wildly enhancing his hearing. Slughorn continued to say something else but Harry was confused, very thoroughly. Slughorn swept out of the library and Harry peered over the top of his book and looked at Cordelia; her face was contorted, with rage and confusion. But something was different about it, Harry leapt up from his seat, his almond-shaped, emerald-green eyes widened ever-so-slightly. Professor Slughorn had said something to Cordelia about her grandfather and though it may be a long shot, Harry thought he saw something.
When Cordelia looked up, Harry thought he was a glint of Lord Voldemort in her features and her eyes. Closing his books, and sliding up from his chair, Harry blocked the doorway to the Restricted Section, scrutinizing her, he felt like Dumbledore.
“That was tense?” Harry said, trying to keep his voice calm but it came out louder than he expected and much stronger.
